School Visits for Pet Education | Vets in Cranbourne

Vets in Cranbourne are dedicated to helping members of our community learn about responsible pet ownership and animal safety. We believe awareness of these issues needs to start early so as part of our community outreach program, we offer educational visits to preschools and kindergartens in the Cranbourne area and surrounds.

During each educational visit, we will cover several important topics relating pet ownership and animal safety including:

  • How to choose, prepare for and care for a pet
  • What it means to be a responsible pet owner
  • How to recognise aggressive or fearful behaviour in animals
  • How to be safe around animals

At the end of each session, our pet expert will open the floor for questions so students can ask anything their like about pets and animal care. Students will walk away from each session with an appreciation for what it means to be a responsible pet owner, as well as how to keep themselves safe around animals.
