Animal Pathology Services | Vets in Cranbourne

With a comprehensive range of state of the art diagnostic equipment onsite, Vets in Cranbourne is proud to be able to offer our clients and patients access to the highest possible standard of veterinary care. Our onsite pathology facilities enable us to take a blood sample from your pet and have results within the hour. This quick, effective system enables us to quickly diagnose and treat your pet, resulting in a better prognosis and a minimum of stress and discomfort for your animal.

Our pathology facilities can be used to process all the common blood tests including:

  • Pre-anaesthetic blood testing
  • Sick pets
  • Feline AIDS
  • Heartworm disease in dogs
  • Heart disease
  • Pancreatitis
  • Kidney disease
  • Liver disease

Our pathology facilities can manage most of the common blood tests your pet will likely require over the course of its life, but there are some more sophisticated tests which will need to be analysed offsite. When we send out samples to an external laboratory the turnaround time is usually between 24-48 hours. When we receive the results, your vet will call to arrange an appointment and discuss the findings with you.
